As a young child, my parents raised me with a strong awareness of the environment and a passion for sustainability.
Added to this, our yearly visits to a local trade fair inspired me to study Event Management. The efficiency of getting everything in one place and the organisation involved in helping people gather together seemed magical to me.
Since 1995, I have successfully organised large events all over the world.

During my early career, I was horrified to witness first-hand the scale of waste generated from each show. Did you know that a 3-day event with around 15,000 delegates creates about 24 tonnes of waste? That is the weight of 42 elephants!
Rather than let it get me down, I spoke with waste management companies and worked with them to find more environmentally friendly ways to reduce, reuse and recycle waste.

Since then, I have spoken at countless events, educating thousands of people in my commitment to making events more sustainable.
In collaboration with their suppliers, I also worked tirelessly to make IMEX in Frankfurt and IMEX America two of the most sustainable exhibitions in the industry.
Working with IMEX, Messe Frankfurt in Germany, the Sands Expo, Mandalay Bay and MGM teams in Las Vegas, our work has improved sustainability practices and inspired our industry.
